We have been working with Phaidra McDermott since we purchased our first home on Sanibel in 2016. Phaidra is a life-long resident and her grandfather was Sanibel's first Chief of Police. She has a long history and a deep love for Sanibel's pristine beauty. Phaidra is in business for the long-term and that means that she takes an interest in what her clients' needs are and patiently works until the perfect match is made. There is never any pressure-just guidance and straightforward honesty. In 2017 Hurricane Irma swept through Southwest Florida leaving a path of destruction. We were back in DC and Sanibel was closed. Shortly after it re-opened, we received several photos and a video of our home and property from Phaidra who personally went through to check for damage. There wasn't any damage- thank goodness. When we asked about the condition of her home, she replied, "I don't know. I haven't check it yet." We will never forget that act of kindness and it was just one of many. This perfectly describes Phaidra. She makes time to help with advice about renovations and resale. We have the utmost faith and trust in her. In fact, we are working with her now to find our "forever" retirement home on Sanibel. We have bought, built, and sold several homes and have worked with very good agents; however, none have compared to Phaidra. She never forgets you and always makes time even after your home purchase. She is simply the best!

Phaidra and her team were great. We were unusual clients rushing in and offering all in a week from first contact to acceptance. We got to see lots of houses and are really happy with what we bought.
Then they were amazing post acceptance until closing doing lots of legwork and being our eyes on site which we really appreciated.
